Lavita Nuvunga

Lavita Nuvunga is the coordinator and administrator at the Centre for Philosophy in Africa, Nelson Mandela University. Miss Nuvunga holds a master’s degree in Historical Studies from the University of Cape Town. Her research focus (to be explored in pursuit of a doctoral degree) examines Mozambican women’s conditions in cloth production, their relations of textile trade in and the nature of the labour force under shifting political economies in precolonial Mozambique.
